What it is for
Take a card payment with the phone you already have on you: at the counter, at a market stall or on a delivery.
A customer holds their contactless card or phone to yours. No card to insert and no number to type.
It lands in the same ledger as every other payment, with the same digital receipt.
Keep the card reader at the counter and use your phone when the queue grows or you are away from the till.
How it will work
The whole sale happens on one screen of the app you already use, so there is nothing new to learn and nothing to set up at the counter.

FAQ
Straight answers about Payble, your money and how it works.
It is coming soon and there is no date yet. Nothing has been switched on for any business.
Not for this. Tap on Phone is being designed so a supported phone can take contactless payments by itself. A card reader stays a good fit for a busy counter, and both will record into the same ledger.
We will list the supported phones and cards before it opens, so you know before you rely on it.
Pricing has not been announced. We will publish it here when the feature is available.
