How we handle job applications.

Who we are

MyPayble Technologies Limited (“Payble”, “we”) decides how the details in a job application are used. You can reach us about your application at dpo@payble.io.

What we collect

What you give us on the application form, and what we add if we take your application further:

• your name, email address and phone number (the phone number is optional)
• where you are based
• your CV, as a PDF
• links to your LinkedIn profile or portfolio, if you add them
• your cover note and your answers to the questions on the role
• whether you agree to us keeping you in mind for other roles
• the role you applied for, and when
• if we interview you: when it took place, who was there, and the notes and ratings the interviewers write afterwards about the conversation
• if we make you an offer: the offer letter and, if you accept it, the name you type, the signature you draw and the time, device and network address you signed from

Why we use it

To consider you for the role you applied for, to arrange interviews, to make and record an offer, to contact you about it, and, if you tick the box, to get in touch about other roles. We do not use it for anything else, we do not sell it, and no one is rejected or shortlisted automatically: people on the hiring team read every application and make every decision. Interview ratings are opinions written by people; nothing adds them up into a score that decides for us.

Who can see it

Only the hiring team, and the administrators of the system it is kept in. The people who interview you are sent your application and CV to prepare, through a private link, and each writes their own ratings without seeing anyone else's. Every time someone opens an application or a CV, that is recorded. Your CV is kept in private storage and is never publicly reachable.

We use Google Workspace to send and receive email about your application, so emails you exchange with us pass through Google's systems.

How long we keep it

If you are not hired, we delete your application 12 months after it was last updated. If you tick the box to be kept in mind for other roles, we keep it for the same period, and you can ask us to delete it sooner. Interview notes and ratings are deleted with the application. If you accept an offer, the signed offer is kept as a record of the agreement. If you are hired, the details you gave us become part of your employment record, which has its own rules.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to object to how we use it, or to have it deleted, at any time, by writing to dpo@payble.io. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with the answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. In Nigeria that is the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Changes to this notice

If the way we handle applications changes in a way that matters to you, we will update this page and its date. Each application records which version of this notice was shown when it was sent.
