How we handle your details.

Who we are

MyPayble Technologies Limited (“Payble”, “we”) decides how the details you give us here are used. You can reach us about them at privacy@mypayble.com.

What we collect

What you type into the form:

• who you are: your name, your role in the business, your phone number and email address, and how and when you would like us to contact you
• your business: its name, what kind of business it is, whether it is registered and its registration number if you give it, where it is, how many locations and people it has, how long it has traded, a website or social media name if you give one, and how you take payments today
• your plans: the range you pick for your monthly sales, the size and number of your sales, how many card machines you might want, what you are interested in, when you would like to start, and anything you choose to write to us
• which link or campaign brought you to the form, if there was one (for example a tag on the address)

Other forms that reach the same team

Two other forms on this site are handled by the same sales team, under the same rules as this notice:

• registering your interest in a feature that is not open yet: your name, email address, phone number, business name and what you tell us about how you would use it. We use it to contact you about that feature and about other products that may suit your business
• asking for a card reader or terminal, when you are signed in as a customer: what you asked for, the contact and delivery details you gave, and the details of your business account that we already hold, so we can confirm the order, agree payment or a lease, and deliver it

Why we use it

To contact you, on the number or address you gave, about using the product for your business, and to follow that conversation through until you are set up or you tell us it is not for you. For a card reader or terminal request, to see the order through to delivery. The ranges you pick are a guide to start the conversation; they are not a promise by you or by us. We do not use your details for anything else, we do not sell them, and we do not make decisions about you by computer.

Who can see it

Only our sales team and the administrators of the system it is kept in. Each time someone opens your record, that is logged. We send you a short email to say we have your details.

How long we keep it

If you become a customer, your enquiry stays with your account record. If you do not, we delete it 12 months after the last time anyone was in touch with you about it (or after it last changed). A request for a card reader or terminal that was never delivered is deleted 24 months after it last changed; one that was delivered is kept as a record of the order or lease. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to stop us contacting you, or to have it deleted, at any time, by writing to privacy@mypayble.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with the answer, you can complain to the data protection regulator.

Changes to this notice

If the way we handle enquiries changes in a way that matters to you, we will update this page and its date. Each enquiry records which version of this notice was shown when it was sent.
