How do I add VAT to a price?
Multiply the price by one plus the rate. At 7.5%, a price of 10,000 becomes 10,750.
How do I take VAT out of a price that includes it?
Divide the total by one plus the rate. At 7.5%, a total of 10,750 was 10,000 before VAT.
Is the VAT I collect my income?
No. VAT is collected on behalf of the tax authority, so keep it apart from your profit.
